No Moles and Skin Tags Jus in 24 hours

Ok, so we all know that skin tags are a pain. A real pain. They’re pretty freaky looking, as well, and can be in tough, uncomfortable spots. But they are very removable, and it can be done without the help of a doctor. Most importantly, skin tags and moles can be removed without the PRICE of a doctor :D

People spend a lot of time obsessing about skin tags, as well as moles, which frequently leads them to good (and bad) products. Products that work, and products that are snake oil. Products that are effective, and products that are a giant waste of time. This article deals with one of each.

So, we have the two most popular products for skin tag removal, Amolis Natural Healing Oil and Tag Away.

I don't want to spoil the review, but.... it sucks!

I don’t want to spoil the review, but…. it sucks!

So first, let’s talk Tag Away. This is a very well advertised “as seen on TV” type of product, and one that you’ll probably have passed an infomercial for if you’re somebody who stays up late at night watching TV. The infomercial says “buy, buy, buy”, and that this is a fabulous product, but does it actually work? Well, the answer to that is no. A big no.

The Tag Away Test

My skin tag was on my neck. A biggie, I’d say, but perfect for what Tag Away claims to do, which is remove the skin tag. This stuff is pretty much available everywhere (I got mine from CVS), and for $20, is not really that badly priced. It touts itself as having “homeopathic ingredients”, which I’m guessing is their way of saying, “hey, this isn’t harmful!” Only to skin tags, I guess.

So I decided to use this, as the instructions noted, for six weeks. I promised myself that I would stick with it, no matter what.

So why would I stop, you ask? I mean, it’s just a cream, right? Just a magical ointment that will take this ginormous skin tag and attack it until it dries up and falls off, right???

Well at least that was the claim. But there’s one thing you should know about Tag Away right off the hop:

IT STINKS

Yes. It seriously stinks. I mean, this is not a pleasant smell, friends. This is something you get used to, of course, but that doesn’t make it much better.

Still, I thought, no-pain-no-gain. I mean, it’s a skin tag – it’s obviously going to need to take a little punishment, and maybe these rather noxious (but homeopathically safe) chemicals were going to do the job. Maybe, and just maybe, the stink is worth it and my skin tag is ready to meet its maker.

So here’s how Tag Away worked for me:

Week 1: Nothing. Slight irritation.
Week 2: Again, Nothing.
Week 3: Finally used to the smell, and the tag is getting redder, but again, when is this going to work?
Week 4: Uh, really?
Week 5: Still looking the same now. Maybe the tag got used to the chemical. I wish I would’ve gotten used to that smell!
Week 6: Wow. That skin tag looks better. Healthier. Maybe ready to grow some more.

Conclusion: Tag Away is a total waste of time and money. The $20 I can accept, as it’s not that big of a deal. But after six weeks, this product not only sucked, it actually seemed to make the tag “healthier”! I call that absolutely INSANE. I mean, how do they afford those commercials, anyway???

So Tag Away is a MUST TO AVOID. I’m not sure how they sell this stuff, anyway, but if you don’t believe me, check out the reviews at Amazon here.

DermaTend – Once Bitten…Twice As Satisfied???

Official Website LinkBuy Directly (cheaper) or Buy On Amazon.com

Ok, so after my Tag Away experience, trying DermaTend would make it seem like I’m a glutton for punishment.

Well, maybe I was, but after the 6 week stink-oil massage that Tag Away brought, I figured it couldn’t be much worse.

Fortunately, I ordered DermaTend directly from the company. Why is this good? Well, if you order it online, the company offers a 60 day money back guarantee.

That meant that if this was another Tag-A-Ripoff, at least I could get my money back. This was a good start to my second “skin tag removal product experience”.

DermaTend Is A Dual-Action Product

Now first of all, DermaTend is not only a skin tag remover, it’s also a mole remover. This is good, of course, because it also happens to be twice the price ($39) of Tag Away, and certainly if something can take moles away, then it clearly must have the “safety factor” to remove skin tags.

With DermaTend, the instructions are a little more complex, and it is necessary to put vaseline around the tag to ensure that it doesn’t affect the skin around it.

Serious Stuff

To be sure, DermaTend is a serious product. You can actually feel it working. The first time I applied it, I was a little surprised at the mild “heat” sensation, but it was definitely a lot better than the “stink and then nothing” of Tag-Away. DermaTend also requires that you have a steady supply of bandages, as you have to apply it and then cover up.

Uh, 4 DAYS???

The magic of DermaTend, for me, anyway, came in the fact that my skin tag fell off in four days. Four days! After the six week (42 day!) madness of Tag Away, this is a HUGE selling point. And, despite some mild irritation, there was no scarring (again, use the Vaseline around the tag). In fact, after two weeks I couldn’t even see if there was a tag there!

One More Shot

Alright, so I have moles, too. Not any really crazy ones, but for the purposes of this site, I figured I’d remove one. All I’d have to do is use the same process, with Vaseline around the mole, apply, and then cover with a bandage. And then…

NO MOLE

Wow. So it works. Really, really well. I think it’s fair to say that the reason why most doctors don’t recommend this is BECAUSE IT MAKES THEM IRRELEVANT. Like, seriously irrelevant.

Conclusion: I’m not sure why DermaTend isn’t available everywhere you shop, but it likely will be soon. But in the meantime, their website is clearly the best place to get it. But, you can also buy it in a larger, more expensive package on Amazon.com (IMPORTANT FOR PRIME SUBSCRIBERS).   So, not only do you get the direct discount, but if you’re unsatisfied (don’t ask me how that happens), you can get your money back, guaranteed.
